Carnegie Mellon University  B.Arch + Robotics 28’

I study both Architecture and Robotics, and to bring the distinct ways of thinking from each field into the other.

I explore how seriousness can loosen, how monuments can become playful, and how familiar forms can feel newly strange.

I am drawn to rules we set ourselves or by the elements not to preserve them entirely,  but to nudge them into moments of delight, surprise, and absurdity.

DESCRIPTION

The environmental middle school embraces simplicity, remaining unobtrusive to allow nature to thrive. It lightly touches the ground, minimizing disruption to the landscape, which supports native flora and fauna. This creates opportunities for students to explore and study while providing community spaces for recreation, learning, and events.  Emphasizing simplicity and ecological harmony, the architecture employs passive strategies for managing sunlight, wind, and water.
